re: A Word About Raid Signups

0
With the 2nd week of raiding coming to a close, we're in a really good spot. Everyone has had a chance to see what we're up against and the extra effort we all have to put in. The beginning of the Halfus fight is going to take a lot of coordination and thinking outside the box to get through.

Keep making sure you're getting your rep gear, your heroic gear, your justice point gear, Baradin Hold runs, whatever you can to get that little extra dps, healing or mitigation into the raid.

Especially make sure you're hit-capped so that things like interrupts and CC don't miss when we need them most. This goes for both tanks and DPS'ers.

Now... on to signups.

A vast majority of the Raid Team has been really good about signups. It's awesome to know ahead of time whether or not the raid is looking solid. I have no problems tossing out general reminders to sign up for raid from time to time, however, we will not track you down for your sign up.

    - It is hoped that "Tentative" will be switched to either "Declined" or "Accepted" the night before or the day of the raid (at the latest).
    - If you cannot get to the game in time to change your status, you can always change it through the Battle.Net website, email us, or text us.
    - It is not advisable to put "Tentative" and show up expecting a spot. If an hour before the raid someone either hasn't replied or is still sitting at "Tentative", chances are I've already taken steps to secure a raider for that slot.
    - If we consistently see an unreplied signup, or one consistently listed as tentative without notice, we will be making steps to replace that raider.

Why? There are other people in the raid that are sometimes rushing home from work, switching their work schedule, changing plans with significant others or friends, all to make this raid happen. If you can't make it to a raid on a particular night, that's fine, but we need to know. We won't make assumptions about your schedule.

We are trying to add one more of each role (Tank, Healer, DPS) to the roster, to eliminate chances that the raid won't go because of schedule conflicts.

On nights that it seems like the raid can't go, if you're signed up as "Accepted", please stick around to help us run heroics or anything that the Raid Team may need. Most of those "off" nights, we'll split whoever is signed up into two heroic groups.

That being said, let's keep it going! Like I said, most people are great about signups. Just need to get our thinking out on the table. Everyone's doing a really awesome job, and it's only going to get better! Just imagine how good that first boss kill will feel!

Please reply to this post that you have read it, thanks!
